Cafe Panuzzo's in Oviedo brings strong neighborhood-Italian energy, and while the chicken parmesan may not steal the spotlight, the bread certainly does. The cutlet itself feels a bit middle-of-the-road, potentially pre-breaded and lacking the crisp freshness and depth you find in standout parms, with a sauce that's serviceable and cheese doing the heavy lifting. But the bread here is exceptional: crisp on the outside, soft and warm inside, with that freshly baked aroma that makes restraint nearly impossible. The included bread basket is a highlight all on its own. For parm purists, there are better options, but if you're nearby, a chicken parm sub for the bread alone is worth the stop.
