PizzAmore feels like visiting someone’s converted home kitchen, cozy, personal, and unmistakably local. The chicken parmesan arrives in a hearty portion: a generously sized cutlet, nicely breaded and impressively juicy, paired with pasta and a side of fresh, hot garlic knots that are easily the highlight of the meal. The knots alone could justify the visit. Where the dish stumbles is the sauce, mild and understated, lacking the depth and acidity that elevate truly memorable parms.
