Cafe Cibo in St. Pete feels like the kind of Italian restaurant every neighborhood hopes to have. Owner Frankie works the dining room himself, giving the place a warm, authentic feel. The meal starts strong with excellent bread and a rich tomato dipping sauce that tastes closer to a comforting soup than typical olive oil. The chicken parm is the star: a thin, perfectly fried cutlet that somehow stays incredibly juicy thanks to a 24-hour brine. It’s flavorful, balanced, and clearly made with care. House-made sausage and fresh cannolis only add to the experience. A true neighborhood gem and an easy Mo-approved stop.
