Papa Anthony’s in Altamonte Springs might be one of the closest parm stops to our office, but unfortunately, proximity doesn’t equal greatness. We tried both the chicken parm entree and sandwich, and neither delivered. The entree arrived a little watery, with a thick cutlet that tasted more like a frozen, pre-breaded option than something made fresh in-house. The sauce was decent, but couldn’t save the dish. The sandwich suffered from the same chicken, although the fresh bread was easily the highlight. Even the pizza was just okay. We never want to dislike a restaurant, but the quest demands honesty. Papa Anthony’s is not moe approved.
