On paper, Tacos vs. Pizza sounds like it was built in a lab for me. Two of my favorite foods under one roof? I’m in. The concept is fun, the vibe is casual, and I respect a spot that isn’t afraid to mix Mexican and Italian in the same playbook. Some of the non-parm items showed promise — creative, flavorful, and a good reminder that this kitchen has range. But when the chicken parm hit the table, it felt more like an afterthought than a headliner. Plenty of cheese, plenty of sauce… just not enough soul. The chicken lacked that fresh, made-to-order bite I’m always chasing. I love the idea here. I’d come back for tacos or pizza. But for chicken parm? This one doesn’t earn the sticker. The quest continues.
