

Sailing through Iceland aboard the Celebrity Silhouette offers scenery that borders on surreal, glaciers, volcanic coastlines, endless sky. Unfortunately, the chicken parmesan at Tuscan Grille doesn't quite match the views. Cruise dining has its loyal defenders, but this rendition falls squarely in the middle: a serviceable breaded cutlet, basic tomato sauce, melted cheese, and not much else. It's neither offensive nor inspiring, a perfectly polite, neutral parm that fills the role without attempting to exceed it. The crew is gracious and hardworking, the ambiance elevated by the ocean outside, but this dish won't be ending any parm slumps. Beautiful voyage, average parm.
